Dr Mullei is currently the Chairman of Sofgen Africa Limited; the Kenya Seed Company Limited and a director in Epass International Limited, Akay Investments Limited and Infor Solution Systems Limited among others.Dr Mullei was Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya from 2003 to 2007;Regional Director for Africa at the International Centre for Economic Growth from 1992 to 2000 Economic Policy Advisor at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and at the International Monetary Fund from 1974 to 1981; Director General at the African Centre for Monetary Studies from 1987 to 1992; and Director of Research, Counselor to the Governor and Secretary to the Board at the Central Bank of Kenya from 1981 to 1987.
